My Scentsy Journey
When my son was 6 months old, I was battling with PPD. As a teacher, a new mom, and a finace, I was worn out, and doing everything for everyone, and putting myself on the back-burner. You know that feeling, like if you do one more thing for someone else, you're going to blow? Yeah, the feeling like I couldn't GIVE another thing. So I needed an outlet.
My Scentsy momma, asked me to join a few times before, but it just wasn't right for me at that time. Thank God she didn't give up on me, because when she asked me to join in January 2017, I knew I had to do it. I was busy, exhausted, depressed, and so eager to do something positive for myself, I knew this was it!
I hosted my launch party and seeing the joy it brought all the people, I became hooked! My son was there, and it was an instant addiction. The happiness people were getting from our products, the fact my family could be a part of this, I was HOOKED! I started trying all the products, and one was better than the next. Washer Whiffs are my jam!!! Especially with a baby boy in the house!
My family is a part of my business. We have connected with so many other people and their families! Scentsy has been such an asset to our family. We have been able to travel, pay of debts, and grow closer! Scentsy has become our family business. It has offered us so many opportunities we couldn't have given ourselves. The fact that my son goes to the parties, vendor shows, and helps me put orders together, is the best part! He has been able to learn a work ethic with is!
